Eyðun av Reyni (b. 1951) was educated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he studied with Professor Wilhelm Freddie. Eyðun continuously cultivates the coloristic landscape painting and the rhythm of the colors is the main element. The central theme of the paintings is the village by the sea under the great cliff, the sea and the clouds. The paintings are composed with strong colors and large brushstrokes in a design language that abstracts from the motif. Eyðun has exhibited and is represented at art museums and in private collections in Denmark and abroad.
